Class Descriptions

Gotta Sing! Gotta Dance!- (Grades Pre-K-1^st)- This is a very interactive class where your child will learn how to be a true theatrical triple threat.  We combine acting, singing, and dancing to give your child the skills they need to be a star!  They will perform “A Barnyard Moosical.”

Broadway Bound (Grades 2^nd-5^th)- This class is a more advanced class that will combine acting, singing, and dancing as well as improvisational skills and characterization techniques to take your child to the next level on stage. They will perform “Lights Camera Action” which includes popular songs from tv shows and movies!

Broadway Troupe (Grades 6^th-12^th) This is an advanced musical theatre class for boys and girls.  It incorporates dance, acting, and vocal training to better their performance abilities. They will perform “Broadway Beat” which includes songs from popular Broadway musicals.

Mini Elite (Grades K-2^nd)- This Elite class is by invitation only.  These children will learn all the skills needed to put on a show!  They will add at least one new song and/or monologue to their repertoire.  They will perform “Lemonade!” and “Go Fish!”

Junior Elite (Grades 3^rd-7th)  This Elite class is by invitation only.  The students in this class will truly become triple threats by advancing their acting, singing, and dance technique.  They will learn the skills necessary to become great star performers. They will add several new song(s) and/or monologue(s) to their repertoire.   They will perform “Madeline’s Christmas” and “Rock and Roll Forever!”  They are required to be a part of Beauty and the Beast Junior at the Music Theatre International Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta, Georgia.

Senior Elite (Grades 8^th-12^th) This Elite class is by invitation only.  This class is for our most advanced performers.  They will continue to advance their knowledge of all things theatre and will perfect their ability to become a great lead role! They will add several new song(s) and/or monologue(s) to their repertoire.  They will perform selections from Wicked as well as Beauty and the Beast Junior in its entirety.  They will be competing at the MTI Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta, Georgia.

Level One (Grades K-2^nd) This dance class will focus on jazz, tap, and ballet technique for young dancers.

Level Two (Grades 3^rd-6^th) This dance class will focus on jazz, tap, and ballet technique for intermediate dancers.

Level Three (Grades 7^th-12^th) This dance class will focus on jazz, tap, and ballet technique for advanced dancers.

Beginner Dance for Musical Theatre (Grades 6^th-12^th)- This dance class is for beginner dancers.  We will focus on Musical Theatre dance technique.

Dance for Adults (18 and up) This class will work on beginning technique for musical theatre style dance for adults.
